If you want to prepare it, in this post we will show you the steps. First of all, you will need to purchase some duck legs of quality so that the dish is exquisite. Next, with a large amount of coarse salt, you will have to salt the piece and let it rest for approximately one hour. After the hour, remove the salt and place the piece in a saucepan. The piece will be cooked in its own fat and left to rest. Once it has rested, your duck confit will be ready.

This first recipe consists of a fresh salad, ideal for summer or spring, although it is welcome at any time of the year.

  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 leek

The first step of the recipe consists of baking the duck confits. Preheat the oven to about 195º - 200º and introduce the tray with the confits. Bake for about 15 – 20 minutes, or until the confit is golden brown.

In the meantime, chop the onion and garlic and fry in a pan over low heat with a little oil. When it is fried, add the bay leaf, the wine, a splash of vinegar and let the ingredients reduce and settle.

Next, in a bowl add the ounces of chocolate together with the butter and melt it in the microwave . Be careful not to burn it! Do it little by little, checking that it melts and stirring it with a spoon.

The melted mixture of chocolate and butter, add it to the sauce that was resting in the pan. Finally, add the honey and stir well so that all the ingredients are well mixed and become a homogeneous sauce.
