Buy artisanal and gourmet honey
At Degusta Teruel we bring to your home the best honey ground, made following traditional procedures . A liquid gold that enriches gastronomy.
From the nectar of flowers and plant secretions, bees produce the fluid material with a viscous texture that we know as honey. Once these plant particles have been collected, the bees combine them inside with material from their own organism. After dehydrating the resulting substance, they store it in their combs, where it matures, and serves as food for the rest of the swarm.

Its high glycemic content makes it an incredible source of natural energy. The sugars in honey made it soon be used to add or reinforce a sweet taste to other foods and beverages.
Honey has also been used historically as a preservative, because sugars dehydrate the cells of microorganisms and prevent their proliferation. The mixture of this with other foods gives rise to the first forms of pastries and preserves . Beekeeping in Teruel
The Teruel province accounts for 22% of the honey production in Aragon. In 2018, 33,000 hives were registered, with a large part of the exploitation for recreational purposes.
The orography is a value that the Teruel location and its surroundings, which is also reflected in the beekeeping product. Even due to the altitude that makes the hives move to warmer areas during the winter, the Serranía Celtiberica is thus one of the most important territories in terms of honey production.
