Salchichón con queso is a cured sausage made with lean pork and national cheese.
This sausage has very small pieces of cheese inside that give it just the right touch of flavor to mix the flavors of the pork sausage with the cheese without either of the two flavors overpowering the other.
Our consumption recommendation is to remove the sausage from the plastic that surrounds it for approximately 2 hours so that it can breathe.
When cutting, we recommend cutting this sausage into slices of intermediate thickness.
