If you've ever been tempted to buy this product but still have doubts about it, we'll explain everything you need to know.

Rice is one of the most basic and versatile foods that exist, present in almost all kitchens in the world. But, when we combine it with an ingredient as exclusive and sophisticated as truffle, the result is a luxury recipe that awakens all the senses.

So let's start with the explanation of what exactly this product is and how you can use it in your kitchen in the right way.

What is truffle rice?

Truffle rice is a dish that incorporates truffle, an underground fungus highly prized in high-end cuisine, along with quality rice. This ingredient, known for its intense aroma and flavor, has earned a reputation for transforming any recipe into a gourmet dish.

Truffles can be black or white, and each type brings a different sensation to the palate. Black truffle has a deeper, earthier flavor, while white truffle is more subtle and fruity. Typically, black truffle, which has a more intense flavor, is used in this type of product.

The rice is cooked to perfection, allowing the truffle to permeate each grain, achieving a creamy texture and an earthy, slightly sweet flavor.

How is it produced?

The manufacture of this product begins with the selection of high-quality rice, which can be long grain or arboreal depending on the final product to be obtained.

Fresh truffles undergo a dehydration process using air-drying techniques or with thermal dehydrators at low temperatures to preserve their aroma and properties. Once dehydrated, they are crushed or cut into small pieces and then mixed with the rice in specific proportions, ensuring that the flavour of the truffle is distributed evenly. In some variants of the product, other ingredients such as salt, spices, truffle oil or dehydrated broth are added to enhance the flavour and then they are packaged.
